Ride with peace of mind knowing your new UM motorcycle is backed by one of the best warranties in the industry. Starting from January 1, 2025, all new Euro 5+ models come with a 10-year or 100,000 km warranty – whichever comes first.

The most advanced engineering techniques have been incorporated into the design and production of your UM motorcycle. From the moment you sit behind the wheel of your new UM, you’ll notice the satisfaction it brings a feeling you’ll appreciate as long as you own your UM motorcycle. You will also be pleased to know how strongly we back each of our motorcycles.

The 10-year / 100,000 km Warranty for new motorcycles, described in this manual, is the best available in the industry.

This Warranty Policy details the guarantees provided by UM. You should refer to the Owner’s Manual to determine the maintenance intervals you need to follow to maintain your warranty coverage. Additionally, your authorized UM dealer will take care of your service needs using UM Original Parts and Accessories.

UM ensures that all its motorcycles marketed by authorized dealers or sub-dealers are covered under the following terms and conditions.

A warranty is defined as any failure attributed solely to a defect in materials, manufacturing, and/or assembly by UM MOTORCYCLES.

At UM, we don’t just sell motorcycles that look good in the showroom. We are committed to making sure you enjoy your UM for many years.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

From 2025 January the 1st, all new Eu5+ models registered will be covered by 10 years of warranty.

Subject to the other terms and conditions of this Warranty Policy, UM guarantees through UM Authorized Service Center, at locations of your choice, the repair of your UM motorcycle in case any defect or failure occurs.

The warranty is provided solely and exclusively through UM Authorized Service Center, provided you comply with the terms and conditions established in the corresponding Warranty Policy.

Since this obligation is subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of this manual, you should consult the manual to understand which repairs and replacements are covered by this warranty. When a UM Authorized Service Center performs the necessary repairs under the warranty, they may do so using parts that are new, repaired, rebuilt, reconditioned, or authorized by UM.

These parts will be covered by the terms and conditions of the Limited Warranty for Spare Parts and Accessories. If a UM Authorized Service Center refuses or fails to perform an adequate repair or replacement covered by this limited warranty at no cost to you, UM (a) will determine whether the repair or replacement requested by you is covered by this UM Limited Warranty and, if so, (b) will obtain the cooperation of a UM Authorized Service Center to carry out such repair or replacement at no cost to you.

Replaced parts under any warranty contained in this manual become the property of UM.

CONSIDERATIONS

UM motorcycles (starting from models Eu5+ onwards) come with a limited 10-year warranty from the date of sale or until 100,000 kilometers are reached, whichever comes first.

To maintain the warranty, all services and repairs specified in the “SERVICE HISTORY” sheet must be performed by the UM Authorized Service Center following the maintenance schedule. Each service must be completed within the mileage or time specified in this schedule.

Failure to comply with any of the maintenance services and/or having them done at an unauthorized workshop is sufficient cause to void the warranty.

If a defect is detected in the motorcycle, UM is responsible for repairing or replacing the defective parts at no cost to the customer, as long as the problem is not due to misuse or improper handling. The customer must take the motorcycle to the UM Authorized Service Center for repair.

It is necessary for the customer to request that the authorized dealer or workshop complete the fields in the “Service History Sheet” for each service performed. This document is essential to claim the warranty and keep it valid.

UM WARRANTY COVERAGE

Warranty Period:

This 10-year Warranty begins on the Sale Date, except for warranties on parts or accessories installed after the UM vehicle has been put into use.

“Sale Date” means the first registration date reported on motorcycles documents.

Additionally, whenever this manual refers to a warranty period in months/kilometers, it means whichever occurs first.

Any remaining portion of any warranty is fully transferable to subsequent owners.

Basic Warranty Coverage:

Except as limited or excluded below, all components of your new UM motorcycle (starting from models Eu5+ onwards) are covered by a 10-year/100,000 kilometers warranty from the sale date, whichever comes first.

This warranty does not cover wear and maintenance items, nor those items excluded elsewhere in the Manual.

See: “WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS.”

Vehicles in Commercial Service:

The 10-year or 100,000 kilometers warranty also excludes any coverage for any UM motorcycle that has been used in any form of commercial service, including but not limited to taxi, delivery routes, service, or rental.
